  Realized I didn’t post my review here but I thought it was solid. I think the plot is pretty superficial and that turned me off cause there wasn’t any twists or turns that surprised me here. Interesting ending idk how I feel about that still

  Better than Anora but the first half the movie was much better than the second. Lot of things left up to interpretation which I thought was kinda lame. But this is my type of movie!

  One of the best films of the year. Though the plot between teacher and student was kinda stereotypical, I can’t say I’ve had a such strong feelings of hate and love for the same character in a movie. Loved the inidivudal arcs of everyone in the movie. A bit of a poetic ending in my opinion too, was a bit of a sad closure but so good!

  To quote another review, “Paul Dano and Steve Carell carry,” which seems to be true. The dad is the worst character by far and kinda ruins this for me.
