The Perks of Being a Wallflower 2012
It’s rare I think to see a side of depression that i truly resonate with in media. How quiet, timid, drawn back from life is something I relate to. How he unhealthily latches onto the people he feels close to, which only backfires. The yearning to be free. Its messy its real, its good film with a lot a lot of trauma, not handled totally healthy but very real. And i love the portrayal of his main family his sister and parents are all very realistic and good people
