There are times when a trailer reveals too much and ruins a film… and there are times when a trailer does not reveal enough.
Every character and scene walked a line between absurd and grounded, but the movie never committed to one side, much to its self-mutilation. The worse wounds came from the dialogue and editing floor.
Unfortunately I will not be revisiting this one, which puts it on a short list, joining Madeas galore and Sharknados aplenty… sorry Love Hurts.
