I think there is a wonderful beautiful movie in here somewhere, it just can't quite find it in every scene.
There are some genuine heartfelt moments that bring this movie to life, often through the amazing performances of Bobby Cannavalle, Rose Byrne, De Niro and of course William Fitzgerald. Can't wait to see what this kid does next.
PSA for all those who do not handle needles well, I almost threw up/passed out. You've been warned.
