  There are very few movies that capture that early high school awkwardness and feeling like everything matters so much. This is one of them. Feels so genuine with all contexts. With a light plot, thankfully the other aspects of the movie make it so amazing.

  I need a drink after that 

  I felt like I had to watch this since what’s been going down in the past months. I pray that we wake up and unite before it becomes this extreme even though I know this is fear baiting.

  I really like the extreme contrast and contradiction in all aspects of this movie:
  Light hearted music over intense scenes 
  Spray paint “Go Steelers!” Next to hanging men
  Jessie Plemons with pink sunglasses
  How the young girl and Lee became completely opposites after being held hostage
  The saturation of Lee’s view after being traumatized by war.
