A lot of fun. Now that the dust has settled I guess even the Kneecap lads themselves can’t bee too bitter about the Oscar snub. Even if they’d gotten the nom, a win over No Other Land would have been embarrassing for everyone involved.
Gotta give it up for DJ Próvaí’s acting chops, and Irish Fassbender is a treat.
Fine. Borrowing a lot from better movies and directors here though. Kubrick is here, Cronenberg is here (along with his less-talented son), DePalma’s here too. I love homage as much as the next guy, but past a certain point you’re just reminding me that I could be watching one of those guys, instead.

Everybody talks about the joys of parenthood and how rewarding it can be--how you’ll come to know an entirely different kind of love. But does anyone ever talk about having to help your son give birth to a cyborg because they had sex with a car after killing their stalker? NoooOOOooo somehow that part alllllllways gets left out.
