  Snow White falls into the same trap that plagues every Disney modernization, a desire to do something modern with the material but a corporate mandate to also highlight reel the past.

  I went into this movie with tempered expectations, not having really enjoyed the original. I left with the same adrenaline rush I walked out of Top Gun: Maverick with. Twisters is what a summer blockbuster should feel like, a high octane thrill ride with its heart on its sleeve. 

  Anyone can direct its action sequences, but what makes Twisters spin on where Twister spun out for me is in Lee Isaac Chung’s direction of its emotional moments. Chung isn’t here…
