The Hangover 2009
I want a Vegas boys trip more than ever after watching this film. Not a single bad cast and they are all hilarious in their own way. The end credit pictures is my favorite part.

The Dark Knight 2008
I now understand why this film is accredited with being one of the greatest movies ever made. I thoroughly enjoyed Heath Ledger’s Joker and quality of screenplay. It felt like every scene had action in it and was crafted meaningfully. My only critiques is that Christian Bale acting performance was far better in Batman Begins and the continuity between the two films was lacking. Overall though it’s a top tier film.

Watching this movie while drinking a few Miller High Life’s put me right into the holiday spirit. The soundtrack, screenplay, acting, production was all impeccable. Honestly don’t have one bad thing to say about this film, it’s amazing.

La La Land 2016
If I could, I would change my rating to 4 3/4 stars after watching it a second time (still not a 5 though, sorry @jhelman12). I am still amazed at the quality of everything and Ryan Goslings ability to act, dance, and play the piano all for one film. Still bothered by John Legends casting. I actually really like him and his music but he’s just playing himself in the film and there’s no differentiation between the two.
