I am compelled to write my first review after seeing this extraordinary film tonight, followed by a Q&A with a panel of speakers that included Farah Nabulsi and Saleh Bakri.
For me, this is the best film of the year. It’s realist cinema at its best and it is astonishing to think it was made and premiered before Israel’s genocide began. The filmmakers could never have predicted it would have the power that watching it now has.
