Overhyped. Would have been far better as just a twist on who the serial killer was, but then we apparently needed to go into the director's VERY specific feelings about when and when not to believe women. This would've gone up but for that bizarre digression. Style-wise, this is great, I liked how it was shot. Performances were good, I would watch the lead again for sure. But that swerve into "edgy" thinking as a cherry on a lecture about not making assumptions was a huge misstep.

I wish this had been a supernatural thriller. What we got instead was pretty weak ultimately. I can't really fault the performances, but the story was just pretty boilerplate. It made the terrible mistake of seeming like it was building to something more and then not really delivering. I can see that being somewhat the point, but meh.
