- to make a documentary comparing Woodstock 69 to Woodstock 99 and not include the events that took place at Altamont a couple of months later in 1969 seems like a huge misstep. Sought to recreate the magic of Woodstock, both Altamont and Woodstock 99 were poorly thrown together and resulted in violence. I don’t understand why there wasn’t a single reference to it besides to fit narratively into the conclusion that this could only happen…
