  The Killing 1956

  My daughter got me this from The Criterion Collection for my birthday. She hadn't heard of it but said it looked like a Dad Movie. She was correct, I love this movie (and already own the Kino 4K).

  She's the best. She liked her own pick as well.

  Once again I need to mention the bar fight scene—awesome stuff.

  The darkest version of some of the themes that are seemingly common for Mike Leigh. A tough sit, but what an unbelievable central performance from David Thewlis.

  An old coworker told me something about himself that has stuck with me ever since. He told me whenever he goes to a new restaurant, he will always order the burger.
