  It’s been a while since I’ve seen an ‘epic’ film. Incredible acting from Russell, Connie and Joaquin.

  Haven’t stopped listening to the soundtrack since I’ve watched this.

  It’s rare that I get this hyped for a movie.

  Beautifully shot sequences that had me manically checking the corners of each frame. Maika Monroe deserves some serious praise for her acting here, but I can see her unfortunately being overshadowed by Cage’s loud performance.  

  The ending initially didn’t stick, but I’ve grown to appreciate it after putting the pieces together in retrospect. 

  With a few small changes, this could’ve easily been one of my favourite horror movies since Hereditary.
