If they did a Muppet’s Hamlet would Miss Piggy play Gertrude, Ophelia or in the hands of a truly visionary director Hamlet, with Kermit as Ophelia. Thematically Miss Piggy would capture Hamlet’s dramatics better than Kermit and Kermit throwing himself in a pond would be much funnier and family friendlier than if Piggy did it, considering she’s a pig and presumably can’t swim.
