Won me over more and more as it went along. Love the ending, which feels aggressively 70s in its ambiguous malaise.

Just when I thought true spectacle was dead in today's cinema, 'I Dream in Another Language' revived it in a way that cannot be said in any spoken or written word. The impression this left on me can only be felt.

These faces, these voices. Oh how familiar and naïve they were. It seemed like the finality of life then, when it was barely just the beginning. Few films nowadays genuinely pique my curiosity as to how they were achieved and Frederic Da's film manages to be one of those rare cases for me. I'll be learning from this one for a future planned project of mine.
