  i need you all to watch this movie on netflix ASAP. this is how you do coming of age films, acknowledging the hardships of feeling alienated yet having a narrative that transcends exactly that. and even though this is basically a coming of age film this is both, a critique (to the mexican government 2006-2012) and a celebration (terkos and a whole mexican subculture), a pure example of gentrification.
