“Brother, we’re here to become human again.”

Sing Sing is a beautiful movie narratively, thematically, and visually.

This is a film that is about humanity and heart. It showcases raw emotion in every scene and Colman Domingo is a force to be reckoned with. He delivers a powerful and extremely vulnerable performance that was totally snubbed at the Oscars.

Jeez this movie stressed me out. Thanks Sofia Coppola, you tend to like doing that.

It is absolutely electric with its musical numbers and downright chilling with its depiction of Arkham Asylum.

Few movies get me invested in their world and characters before the title card, this is one of those few.

A Quiet Place: Day One is a technical and narrative marvel and, I believe, the turning point in the series. The films fast paced and direct story is very different from the previous two, leading to a runtime that feels short but is really just right. There isn’t one scene that is unnecessary or boring. The film constantly builds tension…
