  really cool visual effects but frustrating how little faith it has in the audience with how much it keeps hitting you with flashbacks and closeups and such. you don't gotta remind me I remember the last seven times you said and zoomed in on things

  extremely distressing with absolute surgical precision. while very explicitly about the trans experience, anyone who is or ever has found themselves struggling to figure out who they are, who remains closeted, or complacent in a very dissatisfying version of themself is going to be hit hard by this film. i hope you enjoy it as much and find it's message as useful as I have.

  so good, I hadn't watched this in forever and forgot how great it was. woo and van damme are such a great combo

  maybe doesn't quite live up to some of john woo's hong kong films but still, you can't go wrong here at all. this is so much fun
