something about mickey reclaiming and feeling reaffirmed in his identity and humanity really hit this time around. not that it didn’t the first time! but beneath the parody and the silliness, this movie is just so deeply hopeful and earnest about what it means to be loved and be human, especially in a system that constantly dehumanizes and exploits you. shoutout mickey barnes for embodying all of that and just being the most cutie pie robert pattinson character to date ❤️
