Civil War 2024
Terrifying. I read an interview where Alex Garland was asked how they made the gunshots feel so violent. He said all they did was real blanks and try and record them as faithfully as possible. Brutally successful as an anti-war movie, in my opinion. I also went in really skeptical of the idea of wiping away the politics, but I actually thought some parts were pretty clear.
