The cinematography, the acting, and the soundtrack are so enjoyable. Daniel's Bruhls performance is incredible and worth watching. The safety should have been more of an intrigal part of the story and the overly sexual elements could have been dialed back. Overall an entertaining experience.

This is apparently a sequel to a franchise. I must prefrence and say that I've never seen the first film. I really like the lead here. Lots of comedic elements mixed in. Feels very generic but I was entertained enough to keep watching. I liked the buddy elements between the lead and his boss/Captain. The fun tongue and cheek comedy really entertained me. Sadly nothing stuck out and wowed me. Again, the comedy makes watching this the entertaining part.

"I'm disinclined to aquest your request... means no." Wow, just got out from watching the 20th Anniversary screening that was used as a 100 year Disney anniversary instead. I've watched this movie many times. The characters, plot, design, setting, soundtrack, dialogue, and cinematography are brilliant. Lots of gears are turning and create a fun adventure. I'm certain I was smiling the entire film. The practical effects hold up. The final act is impressive!

A real life anime. The battle sequences are fun. Each Kaiju and Jaeger feel like their own characters. Charlie Day plays a fun character that adds the silly element to the story (this sillyness is a welcome addition to the series tone). The music here is a standout that moves the audience to rock out during incredibly well done cgi. Sadly some of the stereotypical storytelling elements are the only thing pulling this film down.
