The American deaths are long, loud, and in the end they all survive, and credit to Warfare for this candor. But ultimately Warfare is undone by its central paradox. It’s a narrative crafted by those with direct experience, but it does nothing with that knowledge, thereby wasting it and leaving its inexperienced viewers to do all the work.
