The film follows Travis Henderson, a lost soul who has been running from the trauma of his past for 4 years. He is found by his brother and slowly starts to turn his wrongs into rights. It's a very meditative film with beautiful cinematography. The phone conversation at the end between Travis and the mother of his child is really beautiful and answers all the questions that we've had throughout, revealing the tragic events of the past and allowing the audience to connect with Travis' actions.

I kinda loved this, the concept and characters are insane, in particular Gary Oldman's Zorg and radio show host Ruby Rhod (Who is in far more of this film than I would have expected when the character was introduced), but it all came together to be a really fun adventure romp with likeable characters and some very heartfelt moments.

Who knew Will Ferrell would look hot in a fishnet top? Not I until I watched this film. As someone who has spent far too much time in nightclubs I really enjoyed this story following two brothers on a journey to opening their own club while at the same time battling being extremely uncool and awkward around other people, mostly women they're attracted to. It takes the piss out of exclusivity and the bullshit that goes on in this world…

Will Ferrel films nails it as an unsuccessful musician who has always dreamed of winning the Eurovision. The film has insane plot points, laugh out loud moments and a fitting emotional payoff and was a fun watch on the couch with the fire on. Pierce Brosnan appearing as the emotionally closed off Dad with an Icelandic accent was pretty hilarious.
