Curtis has a way of starting multiple narratives following revolutionaries, political figures and movements, and then over 480 minutes of historical footage, weaving them together like a basket to reveal global patterns. This doc series covers a tremendous amount of ground, all haunting stuff.

Damn, another 90’s gem I hadn’t seen yet! What starts as a crime / romance film really takes some turns and focuses more on the folks inhabiting a small border town in Texas, past and present.

Finally, a film shames glamping!
