There's a scene where Betty and Rita go to a show, and the man explains that all of the sounds and music which appear live are actually just recordings. Then a woman comes out and starts singing this absolutely gorgeous song, and both of them start crying. The singer collapses, but the song keeps right on going as they carry her out. Visually this is pretty impressive, but with a fairly unremarkable plot and limited thrills, I must confess - and apologize to whom I may offend - that I don't really understand the hype on this one.
