One of the best and most unsung films of the 70’s, Sorcerer is a masterclass in sustaining tension throughout a film using as little dialogue as possible.

This film was brought to you by Mitsubishi and Casual Misogyny. Action scenes still slap, tho.

Had to laugh when Jackie drew his moral boundary at stealing from white people specifically.

Best seen with no prior knowledge.

Everybody in this film is a god damned legend, delivering the most unhinged lines with such commitment and confidence that it — unbelievably — works.

And I’m not kidding when I say “unhinged”. This script is a gold mine of brilliant neo-noir banter and out-of-left-field insanity in equal measure.

I lost count of how many times I blurted out “wHaAaAaA?!”
