Hot Fuzz is one of the best examples of how comedy should always be done. It's visually funny (not always dialogue-reliant), has entertaining and likable characters, and a plot that keeps you engaged and entertained at the same time. Buddy-cop films have always been a funny genre that's easy to like, but Hot Fuzz really took the cake. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost truly set examples of buddy cops we could all love and laugh at.
Pretty, a little depressing, and very romantic; In The Mood for Love is a super aesthetically pleasing film that is very easy to appreciate. Though not that exciting plot-wise, the movie does an amazing job of keeping the viewers attention through pretty visuals, iconic and pretty music, and amazing acting. Overall, in the mood for love is a gorgeous movie and I loved watching it.

I found Mad Max: Fury Road to be a surprisingly unique and attention grabbing action movie. A lot of action movies, to me, are rather cliche and overwhelming. However, Mad Max has a truly interesting concept that kept me on the edge of my seat, unwilling to leave the room just in case I would miss anything important. Citizen Kane was not a movie I personally enjoyed. Though it was the best movie of it's time, I do not think the movie aged well with time. However, it was also a movie that changed American cinema forever, and for that, it deserves the proper praise.
