    Dune: Part Two

This is an objectively good movie with an interesting and exciting plot. Very well done.

T Chalamet and Austin Butler were the standouts, and their fight was the highlight of the film.

Unfortunately, I just don’t love or feel a strong attachment to any of the characters or their connection with each other, which makes it hard for me to really feel immersed in such an abstract, grand universe. I find myself chuckling at some of the oddities of the…

    Burning

    ★★★

Was any of it real?? One of the most aggravatingly thought provoking movies I’ve ever watched. ‘Burning’ is so long and not much happens.

Leaves viewers with a lot of questions but not enough information to concretely grasp anything. We can’t even trust Jong-Su, whose point of view we live in for the entire movie. I couldn’t help but try and piece it all together to find meaning afterwards, and doing so was more sad and unsettling than the actual…

“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
    Psalm 118:6

An incredible testament of what can happen when a man of faith follows his convictions and lets God work out the rest. I was highly encouraged to see such a powerful story of courage and perseverance portrayed at this level on screen.

I thought there were a few questionable choices during the war scenes, but I’m choosing to focus on the real highlight of the movie which is the character of Desmond Doss over Mel Gibson’s directorial choices.

Went in thinking it was going to be great but wouldn’t come near to Into the Spider-verse. And boy, it came about as close as you can get. Every single moment of this masterpiece is ART. Simply amazing to look at - even more amazing visuals than the first in my opinion. The story and conflicts presented are gripping, relevant and relatable.

Jokes there. Heart there. Music there. EVERYTHING there.

I will always be such a fan of this series. It literally makes me happy to be alive to go to the theaters at this time in history. Yeah dramatic but JUST WATCH IT.
