  De Palma, the only man brave enough to ask: "what if I remade Psycho but added a scene wherein Nancy Allen loudly explains feminizing HRT and vaginoplasty to a teenage boy in a fancy restaurant. And included even more confusing transsexual politics. And also the aforementioned teenage boy is kind of an egg."

  Can't tell if this is copaganda or a condemnation of the police (in favor of vigilantism?) but like, it's a good time all around. Blends campy procedural tropes with overt violence and sleaze to create something that feels really bleak and unsettling. The DoP kinda went god mode with those first few shots.

  a large majority of this is mostly worthless. makes you wait over 90 minutes for a New Idea - and i mean it is a pretty sick ending sequence but it isn't enough. the anti gravity blood scene is pretty cool? cailee spaeny is wife. jail for everyone who decided on that cgi abomination
