There’s not a lot I can say about Cocaine Bear, I expected a dark comedy I could laugh at, and I did. I got to experience it with my coworkers, which I feel elevated the experience, I always prefer watching movies with other people, and I feel like if I watched this alone then I may have ranked it lower, but overall it was a fun time.

mid90s 2018
I was shocked at how much I ended up enjoying this film. Going in I didn’t expect too much, but I walked away seeing a great display of character writing and interactions that just felt so pure and genuine. The film didn’t try to tell an epic story, it was a slice of reality and a journey of growing up, the ups and downs of finding your place in the world.

Watership Down 1978
This is one of those films where I can’t even make an articulated argument for why it’s my favorite movie of all time, it just is.
A faithful and beautifully animated adaptation of the novel of the same name. Watership Down is one of the most gorgeously animated films I’ve ever seen. The “Bright Eyes” scene is my all time favorite scene in animation.
A tale of survival, brotherhood, friendship, and resilience, Watership Down doesn’t stray away from dark themes…Translated from by -
M3GAN 2022
I’m not typically a big fan of horror movies, so I was pretty shocked with how much I enjoyed M3GAN. Granted, this movie does lean into comedy more that horror, and I feel like the comedy parts were executed better, personally. Part of me wishes more of the deaths were a little more comedic and that the film would have just committed to the vibe, but I also think the abrupt tonal shift is also effective in its own way. …
