  Highly recommend.  Scorsese does not waste time educating the audience on Native American history, so those who are unaware may be lost at times.  The plot is not lost without previous knowledge, but very much enhanced.  All the acting is wonderful.  The sets and costumes are highly detailed.  I saw it in IMAX and was not disappointed.

  A classic case of the book was much better.
  I think this was bright and nice to look at, good 80s fashion, but lost loads of details from the book that could have made the audience root for the characters more. Also not as scary as the book, which was disappointing.
