  not sure why I’m ambivalent about this movie. I may have only liked it because it was disgusting and I think that’s something most viewers won’t admit. it’s the morbid fascination. viewers will say oh, it’s the saddest, most emotional and honest and beautiful movie of the year when the director opened the movie with a 600 pound man nearly dying while masturbating to gay porn. It felt like a play. I liked the literature theme. I liked that his sacrifice was beautiful and ugly. that’s what I think for now.
