groundedness, care, beautiful light, profoundly human moments of just-existing... about existing politically and sexually and artistically and mundanely. the captions were so lovingly done, especially in their descriptions of the ambient sounds. felt like spending a weekend in this couple's house and getting glimpses into their lives together
rewatched this for may day and it's still so good... it's simple but so joyful. it helps that I'm a huge sucker for ritual play and charms ofc but honestly perfect springtime movie
