  picked a rando movie to watch on the plane and was greeted with some pretty stunning art. plot was generic but I kinda wanted that. am not too happy with the resolution but issok my eyes r pleased

  a movie that carries itself like grief, never explicit but always this dormant lodging that threatens burst. feels like this movie exists in a space of subconsciousness — a mix of memory as fact (from the recording tapes), memory as remembering (as older sophie recounting these days with her father), and then memory as a pure feeling (the flashing nightclub), all bubbled into a poignant retelling of loss.

  there’s something so vulnerable in the unspoken intimacy between father-daughter, both tension…
