  "There will be no order, only chaos."

  Something about directors' first movies is so fascinating to me. It's like the first stone being laid out for the path ahead. For Aronofsky, Pi is bold, gripping, and a little unhinged. The black-and-white cinematography and chaotic energy pull you in, creating a unique, almost hypnotic and intense experience. I might be biased, but I think it’s a great movie…even if it leans a little into pretentious territory.

  I’ve watched Her before, but for some reason, rewatching it during this particular chapter of my life felt like the right decision, and it indeed was.
  This time, struck me in a way I hadn’t fully appreciated before. Every dialogue felt perfect.…
