the ending shocked me so much i forgot how to speak in my own language for a moment. it’s been a while since a film had such an effect on me. often when people hype up a film, i end up being disappointed because i had such high expectations which the film ended up not meeting. but this time i say: BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

i vaguely saw screenshots of longlegs in the wild (and immediately scrolled each time) yet this “person”/creature still found its/their way into my dreams twice to jumpscare me without me knowing what the hell this film was even about so i figured it was time to finally watch before i got spoiled for real.
turns out longlegs wasn’t a beast or at least non-human, it was just a man. and to think i got haunted by him just for this film to end being a waste of time. tragic.
