  Thought I’d write a review after rewatching this due to the amount of people I know that hate this film or think of it as ‘pointless’.

  Most of the criticism I hear seems to suggest that Wes has crawled quite far up his own hole and all that’s left is basically a self-parody. He has such a distinct style, that people feel all aspect of his films are glib or without much meaning outside of a strong sense of irreverence.…
