  this movie wants to be about the dangers of nostalgia but it can't be about that if you make the 1920s look perfect. before i didnt want to watch woody allen movies because of the allegations and now i don't want to watch them because he seems like a bad director. 1 star is for owen wilson and the other is for the production design.

  Oppenheimer is a movie about scientists: physicists, biologists, chemists, and engineers mainly. But Nolan isn’t as interested in the physical science of the bomb as much as he is the psychology of the titular character. Only around half the movie is dedicated to the Manhattan project and the trinity tests. Those parts are still great, with the first test of the bomb being one of the best scenes in Nolan’s career, but they aren’t as interesting as when Nolan dives…
