    70mm Cinerama Roadshow Print.

    Transcendent experience.

Both uplifting and deflating simultaneously, every single frame and audio cue has been pillaged by every filmmaker since Kubrick across all genres. The cinematic equivalent of a flayed corpse, a funeral, an arthouse-“Simpsons did it” experience. Bit by bit, I realized that so many contemporary directors have lifted their style from specific elements of this film (color and production design significantly) and made it their own, like taking every piece of a whale to consume. Nothing has outdone this movie since 1968. Its visual effects and photorealism are unbeatable.

I really just heard Skrillex, Waka Flocka Flame & Gucci Mane in a 15/70 IMAX auditorium. Anything is possible. <3333 HARM

the jump scare selena gomez-benny blanco promo single sent all of the film bros flying out of the theater. you'd have thought mace started spraying out of the screen the way people were yelling to get let through the aisle and out.

Astounding. I think in film school you gain the natural reticence to ‘curriculum material’, but this is so much beyond that.

This is fucking incredible, eternal cinema.

Absolutely incredible. One of the best movies I’ve seen this year hands down. MUST SEE

Just one of those incredible films that puts you through the wringer and makes you feel every possible human emotion. J.A. Bayona takes a classic historical story and turns it into a thrilling epic with Biblical scope.

An emotional rollercoaster that makes a BOLD narrative choice.

Truly astonishing visceral experience - I highly implore you to see this in a theater if that options available…

    Kubrick but make it cunt.

A jaw-dropping, awe inducing instant entry into the horror canon that exceeded my sky high expectations. I am so awestruck, I have no words left. Oh my fucking god.

Camp masterpiece. Puts all the neo-“camp” movies to shame and resurrects 1980s body horror with the gnarliest practical effects and gore showers I’ve seen since my childhood. I’m talking gallons, gallons and gallons.

Nothing can prepare you for The Substance. Nothing.

    If you grew up watching…
