This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
What I can say is that the concept of this film had potential, and to its credit there are a lot of scenes and moments that execute it well, especially as Adam Sandler’s character faces harsher and harsher consequences with each move forward. What ultimately holds this film back from reaching its true potential however is the humor, which tries too hard to be funny and oftentimes ruins moments that should have more weight to them.
