Wonder Boys 2000
Nostalgia is a powerful drug. I'm not nostalgic for Wonder Boys, but what it represents to me. A time when movies were woven tapestries of intricate little moments and flaws and... for lack of a better word, gubbins. Texture.

Truly one of the most nihilistic, mean spirited and thoroughly dull movies of the Cannon canon. Frankenheimer is asleep at the wheel. There's no style, not thrill, nothing to keep you interested. I slogged through this and I'm worse for it.
