I can appreciate the look and performances of this movie while still recognizing it is a hollow mess with no plot. The movie seems to want to find optimism yet falls incredibly flat. We aren't floating on a space rock waiting for death. The artist's job is not to succumb to despair but to find an antidote for the emptiness of existence.
