Long live the Mahdi!
Riveting, Audacious, and thought provoking like the best science fiction, Denis Villeneuve completes the first chapter of the saga that gave birth to the modern sci-fi epic (ahem... Star Wars). A great and powerful adaptation to what was once considered unadaptable, Frank Herbert would be proud. If we're so lucky, let's hope Denis one day gives us Hyperion and/or Rendezvous with Rama. Although, I DO wish we had seen the strangeness and pure might of "St. Alia of the Knife," I have a feeling Denis will save the best for Dune: Messiah.

A Quiet Place Part II is the best movie of the year… so far. John Krasinski has crafted an amazing thriller. Emily Blunt proves here she doesn’t need to join the MCU. Her career will continue to prosper with or without it. This is scarier and vastly superior to Part I. Do yourself a favor. Don’t wait to stream this. Make sure you find the nearest AMC Theatres and watch this in Dolby Atmos. You’ll thank me later. Can’t wait to see where PART III takes us.

The Devil All the Time 2020
Really enjoyed this. The film is brutal like a nice fevered dream from Cormac McCarthy. It was nice to discover the narrator is the actual author of the novel the film is based on. Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland both give outstanding performances and I can’t wait to discover what other films are down the pipeline for this director.
