A slower paced film that felt more realistic of the west than most. The characters didn't have a clear cut goal or objective in life, but people whose worries and place in life was in question often.
With that and seeing the modern innovations going on; the toothbrush, toilet and newer methods of finding gold was like living in the now and all the new innovations. Easier to empathise with.
I wouldnt have pictured Phoenix and Reilly as brothers but…
