    The Invisible Man

Very solid sci-fi horror with some great performances all round. The cinematography was beautiful and heavily fitting of the tone, claustrophobic when it needed to be and distant and voyeuristic at others. Didn't even have ONE conundrum in it, not even a cameo by Rachel Riley or Carol Vorderman, and it didn't even play the countdown theme when there was 30 seconds left on the clock before a character dies.

As a standalone movie it's also pretty garbage - would avoid.

Marriage Story has such an unabashed and often visceral realness to it it's almost impossible not to be moved by it. Adam Driver and Scarlet Johansson both put on an incredible performance as the two halves of a partnership in the throes of falling apart. In fact, the film is absolutely stuffed with great performances from some fairly big names and great performers but never at the expense of feeling 'crowded'. Marriage Story is as much a dive into how…
