Prisoners 2013
I underestimate how upsetting this is every time. I love this movie but the older I get, the less I’m able to stomach it. Naturally drawn to horror/thriller for how it can challenge my perspectives on the human condition but in this case the suffering outweighs any form of mental stimulation or enjoyment. So good tho lol.

Aside from my homies Dale and Derek being in this I don’t think I’ll ever watch this again but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Does that make sense? No, but it doesn’t have to. Scorsese just ticked off all the boxes for me and provided a thrilling movie that I relate to on a personal level.
