Women of the Prehistoric Planet 1966
Most people, even lovers of bad sci-fi movies, seem to hate this movie. It's dull, there's only a couple of unconvincing prehistoric monsters, the story is lame and predictable.
Yet it somehow holds some charm for me. Namely:
*I like extremely cheap sets they used for the "prehistoric planet".
*Robert Ito and Irene Tsu are a very attractive couple.
*I was heartened when my friends and I discussed the "giant iguana" scene, and the consensus was that it did not seem they actually torched a real live iguana in the making of the film.

Interesting sort of a road movie here about a cynical middle aged lady (a retired teacher who makes money writing letters for illiterate people) who reluctantly takes a boy whose mother was run over by a bus on a long journey from Rio to northeast Brazil, to find the father that she had been tasked with posting letters to prior to the mother's demise.

Terror in the Jungle 1968
This bizarre film is one of the inspirations for Airplane! It is a laughable mess of a story but one I found I enjoyed watching repeatedly, even with the little boy sobbing pathetically for half or so of the running time.
