Bong Joon Ho continues his tradition of movies who's premise is so solid that the themes write themselves. Parasite's "A poor working class family frames other workers to get access to well paying jobs doing menial tasks for a rich family" and Mickey 17's "A failed and power hungry politician uses a legal loophole about cloning to start a space colony with little regard for human-life" both are such solid and succint ideas that both movies have the leg room…

Its such a shame that some of the most amazing effects and sound design is wasted on Christopher Nolan so consistently. This movie is the same strain of braindead new space-age thinly veiled propaganda that gave us such us trash heaps like The Martian. This movie is, undoubtedly, much better than The Martian and by all means, I did enjoy it. Christopher Nolan isn't incompetent - hes one of the most accomplished directors of the modern era for a reason…
