i think a lot of ppl will have problems w this film because the topic of sex work has been greatly misrepresented in the industry but i think baker does not claim that ani represents all sex workers. ani is her own character that is evidently emotionally repressed and distances herself from sex until the final scene (this is not the case for all sex workers!) this was a lot funnier than expected. mikey madison was brilliant and i think this opens gateways for more films that push boundaries of comfort in mainstream film
