  Shot like Mad Max and scored like Escape From New York, Martin Scorsese’s After Hours reeks of shit. 9/10.

  It’s okay, but with how great Tracy Flick is (and she is really great, Reese Witherspoon gives an all-timer), I’m disappointed the movie spends so much time on Ferris Bueller’s extramarital affairs and overall horniness instead of the actual election and Tracy Flick being the annoying, admirable go-getter that we all know and love to hate. And maybe it’s a great satire of american politics, but I’m afraid I don’t really care about any of that, just feed me the melodrama of a high school student gov election.
